I previously made a thread involving suggestiong for vehicle and weapon additions that would be intended to be sold as DLC. Here is the thread for Weapons and vehicles that should be added to the game for free in future updates. What will differentiate suggestions here and suggestions in the other thread should be the following (Unofficial)
IAP Weapons and vehicles should be:
- Unique
- Ammo expensive
- Fun and Silly to use
- Disitinct from other items in the game
NON Iap Weapons + Vehicles
- They should fill a role (Ex. my Below DMR suggestion)
- Less unique
- Common
- Useable by players and AI alike
- Adds more variety to the game.
To start the thread, I have a suggestion for a vehicle and a weapon:
Weapon:
DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle).
Attributes: Long range, can be used with a scope, fire rate probably twice that of sniper rifle.
Role: Acts as longest range weapon in the game with laser sight, and without the need of a scope (Though scope compatible).
Damage: Similar to the pistol. DPS: 2x of Sniper Rifle. Vehicle Damage: Similar kill time as pistol. Mag size: 10-15. Reload: 3 seconds
When using the scope, range before blackout should be half, or less than half of the regular sniper rifle.
Vehicle:
Armored van:
This vehicle would serve multiple purposes. This serves as a transport for troops, or cargo, which will be very resistant to bullets. Though it still can be destroyed by conventional gunfire, it will be very hard to do so. This vehicle can serve wonderfully in transport missions, as a reliable troop transport that wont get blown up easily, as an enemy target or asset during some missions, among other things. The police could use it for tougher roadblocks that will e much harder for the player to drive through. Useful in the front line, or as a cargo/troop runner.
Attributes: Very high armor, high bullet resistance, weak to explosives.
Speed: Can be discussed, but maybe similar to the other transports. Capacity: 8-10.
2nd Vehicle:
Armored Technical:
This vehicle would be a pickup truck or a van with a turret on it. It will only have a capacity of 2 (Driver and Turret user). The turret would be controlled
Role: Serves as a hard to destroy target that will rain gunfire on its foes. Useful when put behind enemy lines. Great while driving since turret can have free-reign.
Turret: Must be controlled by an AI, is destroyed when the vehicle blows up.
Attributes: Similar armor as armored van, high bullet resistance, weak to explosives.
