Thug Wars:
- Issue that can attract way too powerful thugs at early stages - Spawning algorithm issue leading to thugs being spawned further and further outside city
Performance:
- Exploding Car smoke effects can slow down game severely on older devices
All issues have been fixed and an update will be submitted soon.

Hi! I was actually about to post about my praise/criticisms with the build, so I guess ill paste it here.
So first off, I do enjoy the game so far! Driving around is very fun, and i like the style.
I haven't gone too far into the game so ill just cut to the chase with the issues I've found:
1. Land controls aren't that intuitive with the right joystick. I enjoy the control scheme with the cars, but on land it is a but wonky especially when moving around. I'm not particularly a fan of "swipe right to shoot", it just seems a bit inconsistent at times. I like that there is an auto-aim button, but I fell like its placed poorly. Maybe move it to the right side of the screen instead, because often when in shootouts, I have to move around while constantly switching targets. This could make it a bit easier.
2. Car (& on foot to an extent) physics are 'bouncy', in the sense that everything you bump into, you bounce back a little. This is not a problem, except when driving and bumping into other vehicles. Every time I rear end another car, I lose most to all of my momentum, which can be annoying when traveling at high speeds.
3. As you mentioned it might be tied to an issue, but the level 2 (liberate town from thugs) mission, the thugs are very overpowered. There are a lot of them, and they have powerful cars that do frequent drive-by shootings and try to chip away your health until you die. It's just too hard for an early mission, but as you said it is tied to an issue.
Bugs:
1. White Tire smoke flickers to black sometimes (may be an issue with my older device).
2. Occasionally when cars explode, the game drops in FPS for half a second.
Minor annoyances:
1. There are some areas in the map where civilians can walk around but you can't. You likely have a good explanation for this but it can be confusing sometimes when walking around.
2. The tire screech sound is (in my opinion) a pretty bad sound effect. It honestly annoys my ears somewhat because it sounds distorting.
Other than that I have yet to find any other bugs or annoyances. I am genuinely enjoying the game so far! Keep up the good work!!

Thank you so much for all the very detailed feedback, it's greatly appreciated!
So let's go over each point one by one, starting with the easy ones:
Bugs:
Indeed this happens on my iPad Air 1, however not with newer devices including my iPhone 6s. Since you are playing on the Mini 2, which seem to be very similar to the Air 1 in specs, I'm not surprised. Unfortunately the only "fix" would be to use uncompressed textures for the buildings, but that would make the game very, very big in download size. Also, you will notice it only happens in parking areas, never on roads.
This is a bit odd, let's see if this issue persists after the next update, with reduced smoke effects.
Minor annoyances:
Yes, the civilians are pretty much just decorative (animations). If I allowed the player access to the same areas, the interaction would seem very weird. You'd basically be going through them rather than colliding with them. The only solution I'd have is to just completely remove them.
Luckily, this one is a relatively easy fix!
Major Issues:
- The Auto Aim button was actually designed for car drive-by shootings. Ironically, the fact that it's available on foot is just the result of a bug. You'll notice that the character might aim in a completely different direction, yet the bullets just fly towards the target. Unfortunately this will have to be corrected (by removal), but we will focus on improving the on-foot controls.
- The control scheme of this game has so far been the most controversial topic. I've had people telling me to put the controls all on the left joystick, people telling me they are great the way they are, they are good but the shooting is too complicated and so on and on. Whenever I tried to compromise, it would back fire again and some would tell me the controls where better before. I'm a bit lost on this subject. So let me just explain why the controls are the way they are now, perhaps you can suggest how to change them to achieve the same or better results:
Joystick (on left):
- Right & Left: allows acceleration and deceleration - Up & Down: allows strafing (taking side steps)
Steering Knob (on right):
- Allows for very precise change in direction (important for aiming and difficult driving maneuvers) - Reload and shooting controls
Scenario (putting all movement related controls on the left):
- Shooting would be more straight forward, just tap and hold a button or so on the right side. That's great! - Movement would have some serious problems though: 1 - Aiming precision: You lose the precise aiming you do have now. It's a matter of fact, not opinion. The reason is that you have a much smaller range of motion on the joystick than when you have the whole screen for changing direction. 2 - Aiming accuracy: This is somewhat debatable, but I do believe that pointing your finger where you want to shoot or move is easier than trying to aim with a tiny joystick on the opposite side of the screen. 3 - Combining Strafing, Direction & Acceleration: Acceleration can be killed, let's say you remove your finger from the joystick, the character stops, you place your finger on the joystick, he starts moving. The point on the circle would represent the direction, so placing the finger perfectly on the right of the circle would make your character go forward, going a bit up on the circle would make your character slightly turn left etc. The problem here is the strafe (side-stepping function) has no place in this control scheme. Do we need it all? Well, yes, because it allows you to avoid enemy fire, allows you to run circles around the enemy while firing at them, allows you to avoid obstacles without changing direction etc. If you have any suggestions on overcoming all of this or completely remodeling the controls let me know.
Will see what I can do there. I always try to keep changes like that to a minimum, because they might introduce new issues somewhere else in the game. You must understand that the game has quite a complex architecture, there are many things that depend on one another, so changing an equation here or there can lead to a butterfly effect. But again, I'll see what can be done.
Thank you very much for taking the time to post all this feedback and I'm sure we can work out the controls sooner or later (which are obviously very important).

Just wanted to mention, that I'm at the point of entertaining two control schemes from which the player can simply choose one.
Update: On popular demand, started working on a new control scheme for on-foot movement.

Bug: Auto aim when in a vehicle is glitchy, and the button sometimes does not appear. Also the auto aim icon when aiming at a vehicle tends to spaz out and is not directly on the target at times.
(can’t attach screenshot cause proboards isn’t letting me for some reason, I’ll find a way to paste them)

If you mean the aim jumping around the target, that's normal. It depends on the accuracy of the weapon and the distance to the target.
